Bamboo is a style staple here at Penney & Co.–side tables, shelves, even stemware are always on our radar when thrifting or scouring vintage shops. This classic material is truly timeless, and if you pay attention, you will see it repeatedly used in high-end, traditional decor. Often paired with blue and white, bamboo always adds a certain casual elegance.

A constant source of inspiration for Penney & Co. is Aerin Lauder and Mark D. Sikes. A quick look at their instagrams (photos shown below) and you will know why!

 

The gold, bamboo frame shown above is to die for, but at over US$100, it is out of most people’s comfort zone. That’s why we were thrilled to find the lovely frames shown below. The painted-white bamboo helps them fit into most decor schemes, especially those with neutral backdrops. Starting at $16, these are certainly a much more cost effective way of bringing the beauty of bamboo into your home.
